Revision: The process of re-reading a piece of writing and making changes.
Editing: The process of re-reading to make corrections to a piece of writing.
Revision: A - add something more to your story - Are all scenes clear? Does your dialogue make sense? R - Remove something from your story - Are there phrases that are redundant? Phrases/sentences that don't make sense? M - Move something around - Do sentences, phrases sound better in a different spot? S - Substitute a stronger word - Make sure to use your Stylistic Techniques here.
Editing: C - Capitalize all proper nouns, beginning of sentences, and the word I. U- Usage - Make sure all of your sentences are complete sentences. Use the same tense throughout. P - Punctuation - commas, end stops S - spelling - If there is a red line under it - it is spelled incorrectly.

Is it size 12? *Your story has a header with the following: (from left to right) name, title, date * have a peer read your story and made suggestions for changes or corrections * meet with Mrs. Watt and discuss any further changes or corrections * submit to the hand-in-bin or Google Classroom
