Your Mission: create a diorama of a scene from the novel you registered with Mrs. Watt for September.
* Decide which scene you are wanting to re-create * Collect your materials - what characters, and other props * Decide on a background - you may paint, draw, use wallpaper, wrapping paper, or fabric. - Remember that the background images should be consistent with the scale you have chosen. * Decorate the walls: most every diorama has three walls or views, a ceiling or sky and a floor, ground or base. You need to decorate these inside walls first. *Build your diorama working from the back to the front - start with the background (don’t f forget the sky/ceiling and ground/floor). Then place large objects such as trees. The smallest objects should go farther forward. Use glue or clay to secure the objects. Objects such as birds, clouds, balloons, and aeroplanes can be hung from the top using thread. Tape the thread to the object and to the box. * Attach a title, with your name, on the top of your diorama, using an index card provided by Mrs. Watt
*Write Up: - write a paragraph 5-8 sentences:You must include why the scene(setting) in your diorama is important to the story
